In recent California wildfires, for example, T-Mobile supported the Los Angeles Fire Department with 5G routers, hotspots, and antennas—keeping teams connected at the fire line.

Given how frequently firefighters respond to emergencies and natural catastrophes, it is comforting to know that those who arrive to assist have access to a robust communications network when those in danger most need it. By providing reliable, high-performance connectivity even in the face of severe network congestion, network slice technology fills a significant gap in existing solutions.
